AdminIn a nutshell, quran ruqyah is the recitation of verses from the holy Qur’an and Sunnah as well as the most beautiful Names and Attributes of Allah, along with allowable supplications. These recitations are used to seek refuge from the evil of magic and other jinns as well as other illnesses and diseases. Many of the prophets (may peace be upon them) and their companions recited and performed ruqyah in various circumstances.
However, it should be noted that the recitation of these supplications has no power on its own, and it is only through the will of Allaah that one can achieve protection from the evil of magic and other jinns. It is also important to know that this treatment should not be used as a substitute for medical care, and those suffering from medical ailments should always consult their doctor before performing this act of worship.
First, you should start the recitation by greeting our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a means of introduction. Then recite the following verses as loud and clear as you can with complete concentration and conviction. Repeat each surah or ayat 3 to 7 times.
When you are done, you can use this recitation to repel the evil eye or jealousy from yourself or someone else, and also to protect your home. You can even put some of this recitation in water and use it as a spray to clean your house.
